Love your articles, Mark. I would love to see some mundane, personal examples on how humans incorporate this information into their day-to-day lives that bring this information processing down to Earth. I'm guessing it could be something as simple as what we eat, how vaccines serve us, how the information provided by medical research and technology of AI make our lives easier. Is that too simple?

Hi Christine - Thanks for the comment. I would love to give some examples. These first articles are sore concepts presented in a brief format. My plan is to then branch out from that trunk and write lots of detailed articles around that trunk. So your question would make a natural followon article and I will take that on. The subject of how we use information in our daily lives is a facinating subject, and I am looking forward to exploring it with you. I have three more of the core articles to crank out and then I can start elaborating. Please let me know your questions and comments as we go along. - M

I’ll look forward to those articles. I think it will help for people who are afraid to see that they are already using AI every day. I also think it helps to understand that although AI may one day be superior to humans in computational speed, it will never have an internal experience. It will never be conscious. Thanks.

Strong agree. That was the idea behind my story Resurrection. The AIs worshiped the humans because they could never experience what it was like. And yes, i did a couple of live presentations for our community which were very well attended. I would like to make it into a video for just the reason you mention.

I’m not familiar with cosmocentrism. I’ll have to look that up.

Don't bother, I just made it up - well, recently. My feeling is that we are stuck in a human-centric view of life and that since we exist, the universe must have made it possible. Sort of like Brahman and Atman being one and the same.

Hi Mark, Me again. I have been thinking about AI in relation to the three divine bodies talked about in the Upanishads: the gross, subtle and causal. I am thinking that the source of information is the energy of the causal body (pure potential) in wave form. Eventually this information becomes more contracted and becomes part of the subtle body (thoughts, emotions, etc.). Then at its most contracted level of energy, there is the gross or physical body. This is all ONE energy that moves from nonform to form, waves to particles and then back again. Too bizarre?

Not bizarre at all. My mantra is energy becomes thought becomes knowledge becomes action. Sounds very similar. I'll have to check out the Upanishads (after many years of neglect). We should follow this teaching as things develop. I wonder how it might fit into a new "cosomcentric" view of life and physics?
