Tall green Gaians, roots intertwined deep in the saturated wetness of the volcanic earth, blanket the reclining empress, Volcan Baru.

Reaching for the sky, their leaves inhale the sun’s energetic rays and build their twisting wooden towers with carbon harvested from the invisible air.

Warmed by the tropical sun, green energy lifts rivers of living, liquid water from below the earth high into their branches, leaves spread wide in the cool evening breezes.

Long, misty exhales from the great green Gaians of the volcano engulf our world in their roiling, steamy cloud breath.

Rising as if to extinguish the last glowing embers of the sun’s own fire, retreating across the sky into the darkness of night.
